ABOUT US

Budondo Community Outreach And Children's Centre (BCOACC) is a community care and development organization. We are a ministry/ family of friends, seeking to live out discipleship and relational compassion with the orphan, widow and urban poor in Africa. We long to see the incredible love, grace and peace of God made manifest in hurting places and to hurting people.
Who We Serve – The focus of our service is not only to the vulnerable (orphans, widows and the poor) in Africa but also to those wanting to come alongside them. We believe that all of us are in need of transformation. And so we desire to facilitate, educate and equip those seeking to be in relationship with the materially poor. We serve all people regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or gender.
How We Do it – We believe in a discipleship based model for transformation. So we look to develop and empower servant leaders seeking to be agents of redemption and restoration.  We come alongside them equip and train them through experiential learning opportunities. We also identify churches and community leaders whom have already started working in their community and have a clear vision for the healing of their community. We come alongside them, and assist them to do, what they or we are unable to do alone. We seek to facilitate a relationship between caring people in the rest of the world and these vulnerable communities in Africa.
What We Do– While community care and development is the broad title of what we do, our work is specifically focused on widow and orphan care, a volunteer program, and various empowering partnership projects. We seek to empower individuals to transform their community.
In all of this we long to see the incredible love, compassion, grace and mercy of God made manifest in hurting places and hurting people. To continue to get a grasp of who we are, we invite you to read our vision and mission statement.
